Kamila Żmijewska
Kamila Żmijewska, a consultant with over 20 years of experience in public relations, is PiART’s owner and founder.
As a public relations specialist, I possess extensive knowledge about creating and implementing communication strategies, crisis management, external and internal communication, media relations, CSR, sponsoring, social media and event organisation.
I mastered my skills as a moderator of numerous press meetings, conferences and discussion panels. I also have been featured in the following television shows: TVP2 Pytanie na śniadanie, TVP1 Rok w ogrodzie, TVP1 Agrobiznes, TVN Maja w ogrodzie, TVP1 Kawa czy herbata, Dzień dobry TVN, TVN Style Miasto Kobiet, Superstacja and TV4. I have also been invited onto radio broadcasts including, among others, RDC and RMF FM.
I graduated in German Studies at the Faculty of Modern Languages of the University of Warsaw. Furthermore, I received a scholarship at Humboldt University in Berlin. I am fluent in German and English. I have been nominated for the prestigious PROTONY award. I have also implemented nationwide image-building and promotional campaigns. I specialise in the implementation of EU campaigns.

since 2016
EU-supported Stars Unite Europe campaign, initiated by Stars for Europe, the European producers of poinsettia.
As part of the activities, we develop the strategy and implement communication and marketing activities. These include the translation and editing of press materials, articles, videos and website materials. We cooperate with multiple outlets, including women’s magazines, lifestyle magazines, interior design magazines and trade publications.
We organise press trips, participate in workshops and florist exhibitions, both locally and abroad. We establish profiles and conduct social media campaigns, as well as influencer activities.
We develop promotional materials for florists and create advertising slogans. We cooperate with wholesale markets, wholesalers and florists. We acquired the project through a tender procedure
EU-supported Europe in Bloom campaign, initiated by pelargonium producers associated in Pelargonium for Europe. The campaign aims to promote pelargonium and support the long-term sales of this plant on the Polish market Similarly to poinsettias, the activities are aimed at consumers and industry representatives. We acquired the project through a tender procedure.

Experience
- I have extensive background, including in one of the oldest PR agencies in Poland, where between 2003 and 2016 I managed numerous promotional campaigns and communication activities for European companies and organisations in the floral sector, such as: Flower Council of Holland (a non-profit organisation of Dutch cut flower and pot plant producers) – promotion of cut flowers and pot plants on the Polish market, development and implementation of a strategy and schedule of promotional and public relations activities, co-organisation of international floral shows, workshops, and seminars with the largest wholesale markets in Poland.
- Just Chrys project – promotion of chrysanthemum on the Polish market, development of a communication strategy. Promotion of orchids and hyacinths – communication activities aimed at florists and consumers.
- Flowers&Hortech Poland 2012 – co-organisation of the trade fair at the Warsaw Agricultural and Food Wholesale Market Bronisze (PR activities, cooperation with media patrons).
- Flora Holland – cooperation with the Dutch exchange – organisation of industry trips for flower and plant producers (e.g. preparation of meeting agendas, translation of conversations with industry representatives in Poland).
- Flower Expo Poland – promotional activities concerning the cut flower and pot plant sector during the “Green is Life” exhibition, acquiring media patrons.

I was head of the Lifestyle division and led communication activities for the sports brand PUMA and the Kamienica Theatre. In the Healthcare division, I supervised Teams working for the pharmaceutical companies Medicus, Boehringer Ingelheim, Gedeon Richter, the Association of Healthcare Vehicle Manufacturers and Distributors, and the Red Nose Foundation. I conducted PR activities for clients from the IT sector (Microsoft, Lexmark), a courier company (FedEx), and for the fuel provider LOTOS Group between 2011 and 2016.
